Top 5 Tips To Enjoy A Stress Free Thanksgiving

Tension (stress) is a biological failure of emotional or physical organism which affects the mind to function properly. People who suffer from stress virtually find it impossible to live their lives happily as most of the times they are in a condition where they experience headaches and increased heart beat rate.

A Thanksgiving celebration requires you to keep your mind in place and enjoy the festival with your friends and family members. As the day of festival approaches the tension start building which makes such people more nervous which in turn ruins their entire festival. Determine the Root Cause: Determining the root cause behind the stress is vital. One needs to focus entirely on the root cause just to enjoy stress free vacation. In order to determine the stress source you should think about all the options i.e. cooking, satisfaction of guests, hosting a Thanksgiving, or those you are not comfortable with. Try to ignore any of the above options from your Thanksgiving schedule just to avoid stress. If you are not comfortable doing something you can ask your partner to help you out.

Hosting a Thanksgiving party is the cause of your stress: In case hosting a Thanksgiving is not your cup of tea then you can ask any of your family members (generally spouse or parents) to take the responsibility and humbly inform them that you can’t bear the stress of hosting a party. You can enjoy the Thanksgiving party like any other guests without indulging yourself in it. However, if any other member is hosting a Thanksgiving on your behalf, your understanding with the person should be very good.

Stress Due to Family Disputes: It has been seen that many people suffer from stress due to minor family disputes. But you have to go deep down to the cause of Thanksgiving which is “Keep All Your Differences Aside and Enjoy the Festival Together”. Although, it may not be as easy as it may sound but being a host you have the absolute power to ignore any family member whom you are not comfortable with. If possible keep your quarrels aside, if not then simply ignore the person and concentrate on your Thanksgiving preparations.

How To Manage Everything Alone: If managing everything alone scares you then you can simply ask your friends or family members to help you in your Thanksgiving preparations. If the understanding and bonding between you and your family member is strong then they will surely help you out. You can ask your guests to bring few dishes to cut down your cooking time. You can buy few canned dishes to save time etc.

Alone On Thanksgiving: If you are alone and have nowhere to go then you can volunteer your services to churches, old age homes, hospitals or child care. This way you will help others and enjoy the festival with those who really appreciate your presence and time.
