Thanksgiving Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Meal is the center of attraction of any Thanksgiving Dinner Party. If you are planning a Thanksgiving dinner party you might think of Turkey (as main course) and apple/pumpkin pie as dessert. It has been observed that people on Thanksgiving Day get too busy in kitchen that they do not find enough time with guests and family members to enjoy the holiday. Except the main course you should plan such dishes which do not take too much time in cooking but are loved by all.

Prior to your cooking it would be wise to pre heat the oven to 450 degrees. Now you should mix eggs, salt, sugar and spices in one big bawl. Make sure you mix and blend the ingredients properly. Beater should be used to blend the ingredients properly at normal speed.

Buy Libby canned pumpkins which are very tasty and good. You should now blend the pumpkin at moderate speed. Ensure that it blends well.

You should now beat the pumpkin pie mixture at a moderate speed for 4-5 minutes and add milk to the mixture.

You should now pour the mixture of pumpkin pie into pie crust which you will further bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Once baked you should bake again at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Insert a knife at the center of the pie so that it comes out clean without any damages to the overall beauty.

You should plan and allow at least 30 minutes to cool pumpkin pie off. Some people prefer to eat pumpkin pie as hot but few prefer as cold. Ask your guest and serve as per choice. You can put the pumpkin pie in refrigerator to cool off but do not forget and keep it for more than 10 minutes.

Your mouth watering pumpkin pie is ready to be served. You can use whip cream as toppings too.
